How we can help you

Making sense of what’s going on

People come to therapy for many reasons. Maybe something from your past is affecting your present. Maybe you’ve experienced trauma, loss, or a major life change. Perhaps you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, or simply feel stuck — like the way you’ve always done things just doesn’t work anymore.

Whatever has brought you here, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to figure it out alone either.

We’re here to help you make sense of what you’re going through and support you in finding a way forward that feels true to you.

Our Approach

We believe therapy should be built on trust, safety, and collaboration. Here’s what we aim to offer in every session:

  • A space to be heard — with compassion and without judgment

  • A relationship built on honesty and mutual respect

  • Support as you explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences

  • Tools to help you understand your emotions and patterns

  • Gentle guidance as you begin to problem-solve and make meaningful changes

  • Empowerment — so that, in time, you won’t need therapy anymore

You set the pace. You choose what to share. There’s no pressure and no rush. Trust may take time — and that’s okay. You might feel comfortable right away — that’s okay too.

How we work

Therapy can take place:

  • In person (in Leeds)

  • Online (via Zoom)

  • By phone

You can end therapy at any point — this is your space, your time, your journey. We’re here

to walk alongside you, not lead the way for you.

Our commitment to you

YouTherapy adheres to the BACP Ethical Framework and is committed to:

  • Maintaining your confidentiality

  • Keeping your data safe and secure

  • Ongoing professional development and clinical supervision to ensure the highest quality of care

We are proud to offer an ethical, compassionate service — and we’re accountable for the care we provide.

Feedback and Concerns

It’s always lovely to hear how therapy has helped our clients — your feedback helps us grow.

If you ever feel our service hasn’t met your expectations, please talk to us first. We’ll do our best to resolve any concerns. If you’re still unhappy, you can make a formal complaint to the BACP, who will support you in that process.
